A very SCARCE publication

In reasonably good condition with a few flaws. Wear and tear to cover which has several marks/stains, primarily to the back cover. Discolouration/fading to spine and to outer edges. Small splits to top of spine, along both back and front hinges. Larger split along back of spine (measuring approx. 2 1/4″ or 6 cm), near the bottom and a small split to front. Wear and slight chipping/small tears to top and bottom of spine. Original owner’s name to front endpaper. General age discolouration/tanning throughout. Vertical creasing to first couple of pages. Creasing/rippling to protective tissue paper between frontispiece and title page. Some light staining and handling marks to pages 2-3 (Dancing Dolls – see photo). The odd small mark/stain here and there. Small edge tear to last page. Small crease/indentation near top outer corner of several pages. A couple of places where the pages are pulling away from the binding thread very slightly. Light creasing to endpapers. But otherwise good. Binding is tight. No loose pages. Internal hinges are sturdy. Internal pages are otherwise good with no major flaws – no major stains or tears and no further annotations. Please see photos for more information. Please note that it has proved difficult to reproduce the colours (e.g. cover) totally accurately in the photos.

Please note that you are purchasing the book only. Any other items shown in the photos are for display only and are not included in the sale.

I have estimated the shipping charges. If I find that I have grossly over-estimated the shipping charges (after allowing a small amount for packaging) I will, of course, refund the difference. I am usually able to provide a discount for combined shipping, though this is difficult to estimate precisely at time of listing

Any questions, please feel free to ask
